New Morning, New Year, New Mercies

This is the day the Lord has made!

Your Word says that your mercy is renewed each morning. Oh, early in the morning, my song shall rise to you!

For as far as the east is to the west, you have removed my transgression!

Praise be to Your glorious Name!

I rejoice because you delivered me out of the dominion of darkness and transferred me into the Kingdom of light.

I will declare of your praise to You forevermore, O Lord my God, with all my might; and I will glorify Your name all the days of my life.

Bless the Lord, all my soul; all that is within me, bless Your holy Name!

I thank you for who You are. You are the everlasting God who never leave us nor forsake us.

Your grace is greater than all my sin,

Your mercy is stronger than all the darkness,

Your love is  deeper than all the boundless seas,

Your faithfulness reaches to the skies,

I will rejoice always and be glad in it!

In You I find all my hope and comfort,

Your joy is the strength for today,

Your presence is the hope for tomorrow,

Your glory is the reason for our existence.

I come with singing and everlasting joy within my heart. I obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing goes away.

The spirit of rejoicing and laughter is my heritage.

I praise You with joyful lips. I am ever filled and stimulated by Your goodness.

I speak out in psalm and hymns and make melody with my heart.

Father, I am altogether and entirely yours. I am your divine instrument of your peace.

I offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to you alone – this is my spiritual act of worship.

Amen.
