20 Important Quotes about Evangelism

Over the past several weeks via podcast and conferences, God has convicted me of the reality and the importance of sharing the good news of the gospel with our community.

The passage such as, “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.” In 1 Corinthians 15:3 hits me to the core. I mean, this is the gospel!

Knowing the truth of the fact, people that you walk across, just a block away from your church will die of eternity separated from God doesn’t seem right. You begin to question, “Shouldn’t we do something about it?”

12. “At our very doors is the work we crave. The heathen are literally all around us. I have already had the pleasure of going with my sister on some of her visits to the native women. Much tact is necessary in dealing with these as the aversion to foreigners is still very strong. Some will not admit us at all; others listen coldly and with evident restraint; only a few hear the word gladly. Nevertheless, we must ‘sow beside all waters.’ We know that God’s word can not ‘return void.'” – Lottie Moon
